To our patients:

1) We are requiring sick patients to wear a mask (fever, cough, runny nose, vomiting, etc.)
2) We are strongly encouraging, but not requiring, staff and patients to wear masks.
3) If you would like the staff of Cayuga Family Medicine to wear a mask while caring for you, simply ask and the staff will immediately put on a mask whenever they are interacting with you.

Please note that this policy may change if the amount of virus, the transmission rate, or severity of Covid illness changes in the future.

 

Special Annoucement

Dear patients,

We would like to announce that Dr. Jamie Loehr will be cutting back his patient hours to half time starting February 2023. Dr. Loehr does not plan to retire for several more years but is spending more time working with the CDC on vaccine policies. We know this will be a change for some of you and we ask for your patience and understanding if you are not able to schedule an appointment with him.

We are happy to announce the new addition of Dr. Elizabeth “Betsy” Horst, an osteopathic physician who has practiced in Pennsylvania for eight years before moving to Ithaca in 2022. Both Dr. Horst and our wonderful nurse practitioner, Benjamin Kornblum, are available to see Dr. Loehr’s patients for well and problem visits.
