Update:

As of January 1, 2026, providers at Cayuga Family Medicine are ONLY able to do video visits IF the patient is physically in New York State. In other words, we will not be able to do video visits with a patient who is calling from a different state or outside of the United States. This includes any video visits for chronic medical care for patients who are out of town for prolonged periods of time, such as snowbirds or college students.

As for refills for chronic medication (such as for depression or hypertension or ADD or diabetes etc), we are still allowed to send appropriate prescription refills to any state in the United States but not outside the United States. Unfortunately, we are not allowed to send new prescriptions for new problems to out of state pharmacies, only refills. This includes sending an antibiotic for a new UTI, paxlovid for a new covid infection, or pain medication for a new broken bone.

Cayuga Family Medicine recommends yearly flu vaccines for patients 6 months and older.
Call and schedule your flu vaccine today!
We will administer COVID vaccines but due to limited supply we cannot guarantee availability. If a COVID vaccine is important to you we urge you to make an appointment with your pharmacy.

If you have an upcoming appointment with us, we would be happy to administer your vaccines at your appointment.

If any of the above times do not work for you, we encourage you to schedule a flu vaccine with your pharmacy.
